Coastal cities, royal or traders who have a story to tell, an island in the South China Sea with palm trees and tropical fish, or the vastness of the river and the secret stream of the Mekong Delta aboard a sampan. An overview of the art of living in South Vietnam.

Day 1: Saigon

Your plane arrives in Saigon. Our guide will welcome you at the airport and accompany you to your hotel. Hundred and fifty years ago, it was only a question of Gia Dinh occupied by Viets, Prei Nokor of the Khmer and Cho Lon (or large market) Chinese merchants settled there since the seventeenth century.

4 02The French will create from scratch a city name Saigon is still mysterious about his origins and seems to mean "wood kapok." Our guide will take us to the present realities full of turbulence of the city and the evocation of the past, starting with the visit of the Cho Lon area.

Days 2 and 3: Saigon - Mekong Delta

This morning we depart for the Mekong Delta for a cruise of three days and two nights on the immensity of the river and the secret of its arroyos on board our sampan.

Day 4: Mekong Delta - Saigon

Disembark in the late morning and drive back to Saigon. Visit the French Quarter. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Hue

Our plane landed in Hue. After checking in the hotel, the last royal capital of Annam will reveal us its treasures, some precious and special taste ò the kings to build the palatial tombs. The visits will take us two days, with the Royal City, the Tomb of Tu Duc, the Minh Mang one , the Pagoda of the Old Lady Celeste, and a bike ride around the old town and the surrounding area.

4 03Days 6 & 7: Hue - Hoi An

After a three-hour drive, we will arrive in Hoi An, on the coast of the South China Sea. The city, where you will stay two nights hosts a Chinese quarter with a Japanese influence, has been classified as World Heritage of Humanity. There is much to contemplate, with the addition of a special atmosphere in this former trading harbour, established by traders of all origins.

Day 8: My Son - Quy Nhon

We are in the Champa. My Son, the ancient religious capital of the Chams, even damaged by the war, is a rare example of the Indian civilization Influence that is lost forever. Without any doubt, its location in the center of the Champa, safe from unexpected incursion, this site has been favorised by all successive kings of the country.

It seems that an mystical obligation had imposed on all the building of a temple at least in this holy city. While other archaeological groups (the Po Nagar of Nha Trang apart) have received the support of only one or two sovereigns, Mi-son has seen all the kings of Champa temples devoted the building that they had ordered to build.

Around the main monument, we can see secondary towers, some groups of monuments surrounded by smaller bulwark. The inscriptions found in the My-Son are numerous, their translation has provided an outline of the history cham. Then along the coast of South China Sea, we move to the South and we stop for the night in Quy Nhon.

4 04Days 9, 10 & 11: Quy Nhon - Whale Island

After three more hours along the ocean, we will arrive on the peninsula of Dam Mon where we ship to Whale Island, one of the last parts of untamed shores. Here a three night break in the clear reef waters will help you to errase the fatigue of this busy schedule full of discoveries and emotions.

Day 12: Whale Island - leaving Nha Trang

This is the end of your stay in Vietnam. But we will definitively meet again. We will bring you to the closest airport, where you take a flight back to Saigon or Hanoi.
